Shipping firearms is becoming harder and harder these days, mostly due to misinformed shippers employees. If you are not an FFL holder you can ship firearms to a Gunsmith/FFL holder with UPS and FedEx. You must ship second day air saver or faster. You may not ship ground service. FedEx seems to be a more firearms friendly company then UPS, but what do you expect from an anti gun company. You may not use the US Postal Service unless you are an FFL holder shipping to another FFL holder or manufacture, and you must be registered with your local Post Office and submit Form 1508 with each shipment. The US Postal Service is the most cost effective way to ship firearms, but you must be an FFL holder.
It is best to not print your shipping label to Miossi Gun Works LLC for security purposes, instead make the shipping label as follows:
MGW 702 Park Dr Monticello, IA 52310 (319) 465-1911 Please do not send me your firearm with out first contacting me. The best way to ship your gun is in the original factory case or box as they offer the best protection and fit very well in the FedEx medium and large boxes. Also please provide at least one magazine with your gun as I do not have many spare mags, and your magazine will be cleaned.Fair and honest shipping policy
It is our policy to have fair and honest shipping prices on all of our services and products. We use actual shipping cost by order weight and insurance costs, rather than your order total or a flat rate for shipping. We do not charge handling fees, period. We charge you only what we pay. If you overpaid, we will send you a refund. If you under paid we will send you a bill for the balance, but we will not hold up your gun or order waiting for payment. We believe the honor system works well within the shooting community.
